FON Wireless Network

Starting from March 17, 2008 a FON wireless router with signal gain directional antenna is being installed and enabled to provide WiFi service to general public in Ping Tin (Phrase I/II), Lam Tin, Hong Kong SAR. This FON wireless router was being moved to China Hong Kong City, Tsimshatsui, Hong Kong on May 7, 2008. The router was relocated to Wanchai Swatow Baptist Church, Jaffe Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong on May 24, 2008.

With a FON Community account you could access to any FON wireless network worldwide at no cost.

For users without FON Community account, they could still access the FON wireless network for 15 minutes trial, or US$3 for 1-day pass per computer/device or US$10 for 1-day pass for up to 5 computers/devices. You could still access to your Gmail, Google Maps, Google News and Google Search without FON Community account or pay-to-go activation.
